Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, nurses, dentists, oral surgeons, dental hygienists, pharmacists, social workers, nutritionists, and other health care providers involved with the care of cancer patients.


Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

• Address their personal Continuous Professional Development (CPD) needs.

• Demonstrate an understanding of the evidence base for supportive care in cancer.

• Recognize the increasing importance of digital health in supportive care.

• Recognize the importance of sexual health / problems in cancer patients.

• Define the major toxicities (and management thereof) of immunotherapy / other novel anti-cancer modalities.

• Define the major problems (and management thereof) of cancer survivorship.

• Explain the term “biosimilar”.

• Appraise (and reflect) on current practice.

• Assess alternative models of care.

• Evaluate the need to change current practice.

• Share experiences with colleagues.

• Develop collaborations with new colleagues.

  1. Go to CME University at: www.cmeuniversity.com and register or login
  2. Once logged in, click on “Find Post-test/Evaluation by Course” at the top of the page
  3. Type in “14269” in the box, and hit enter
  4. Click on the activity title
  5. Complete the online evaluation and obtain your CME certificate to download and/or print for your files
Upon completion of the online Evaluation form, you will have immediate access to a CME certificate to print or save for your files. You can save your certificate by selecting the “Save” option on the print screen.
